Jeff Josenhans With an extensive background in hospitality, US GRANT Director of Outlets and Certified Sommelier, Jeff Josenhans exudes innovation and has quickly become a vital presence in San Diego’s mixology scene. Josenhans was strongly influenced by his experiences overseas, where he traveled to over 45 countries. Participating in unique and varied working environments, he was able to experiment with many hospitality concepts and business models. Josenhans graduated from Stockholm University and worked in some of Sweden’s hottest venues for 12 years. Starting out as a bartender, his abilities and reputation led to a management position at Grand Hotel, which was named one of Condé Nast’s ‘Top 10 Hotels in the World” during his time there. Due to the hotel’s notoriety and frequent nightlife events, Josenhans became a media figure in the Stockholm bar scene. After opening an award-winning restaurant, Josenhans began to focus most of his energy on his knowledge of wine, paving the way to his current position at THE US GRANT. Josenhans prides himself on his ability to intertwine traditional ways of mixing with today’s popular mixing trends and has thus created his own philosophy that works perfectly with the Grant Grill’s lounge atmosphere: culinary influenced cocktails. A respected wine connoisseur and level 2 CMS sommelier, Josenhans continues to explore new concepts and ideas in the industry while creating a wine and cocktail program that appeals to THE US GRANT’s luxury-oriented consumer. |
